The Canadian Nyan Cat is one of the many spoofs of Nyan Cat found on YouTube.
It was created by YouTuber "super0sonic" to add the country of Canada[1] to the "Around the World" family.
The video was uploaded on Jul 5, 2011 under the title "Canada Nyan Cat".
It has a Canadian flag for the body and trails a red and white striped streak, the colors of the Canadian Flag. The cat still flies in Space, with the normal exploding stars and blue background, but is still the same grey Russian Blue Cat.
The song the cat flies to is an instrumental version of the Canadian National Anthem, distorted with the "Wah Wah" effect to make it sound like the cat is singing it.
Later in 13 Aug 2011, a YouTuber with the name "Erica Fletcher" uploaded the same nyan under the video title "Canad-nyan Cat, Eh?" In this video, it is the exact same nyan cat, but this version wears brown earmuffs, and has a ski on its feet.
The music in this video is also different, being a remix of the original Nyan Cat theme, but has "Eys" added into the song.

In 23 Aug 2011, another YouTuber made a completely different Canadian related Nyan Cat titled as "Canadian Nyan Cat (NEW AND IMPROVED)". Soon, another YouTuber followed with "Nyan Cat Canadian Edition" in Sep 20, 2012.
