The Dubstep Nyan Cat is a spoof that is found on the website nyan.cat.
Appearance[]
The cat has long black hair, and black glasses. Its body is a blue poptart with darker blue sprinkles on it. The accessories on this cat make it look like the dubstep music producer Skrillex.
It flies on a black starry background, and its rainbow trail is a dubstep visualizer. The music that plays is a dubstep remix of the original "NyaNyaNya" song by Momone Momo.
Nyan.Cat Page[]
Before the update, the title of the Nyan.cat page said "Dubstep Nyan Cat" and the three options below it highlight in pink. The background turns black with the normal popping stars.

- Adolf Hitler's voice saying "Jas!" (Yes!) can be heard at approximately 0:56 through the song. This might be a reference to the Nazi Nyan Cat, but not much else is known if this is true or not.
- The Dubstep Nyan Cat's appearance is based off of Skrillex.
- The only other nyan cat to use a completely black background is the Technyancolor Cat.
- Before its removal, the "Lower Volume" Easter Egg would reveal a black rainbow, a glitch that also occured with nyans such as Pirate, Manyan, Elevator and other nyans with no rainbow, or with one elsewhere.
- Contrary to popular belief among some on this wiki, Dubstep Nyan Cat was NOT a collaboration with Skrillex, it was just designed after him.
